The new logo keeps the stripes. Their shape is freer and more fluid. The lines now have cuts, an uneven edge, and a slight wave. The mark feels closer to an exchange of ideas and an open conversation. The sea green color softens the identity and moves it away from its former official tone.
The New America wordmark became larger, softer, and bolder. The name moves to the foreground as the organization builds its communication around a new public model in which institutions, families, workers, technology, and communities are connected.
The logo is tied to the organization’s new mission, emphasizing big ideas and practical action for the country. The stripes show different areas of work. The broader system includes research, programs, the magazine “The Thread,” New America Fellows, podcasts, publications, and live events.
The rebrand brings different activities together under one name. The new logo makes the image more flexible while maintaining the organization’s status as a serious policy institute.
