The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has rolled out a new logo, showcasing its shift toward a more modern, streamlined identity. The old logo was bold but felt a bit heavy. It featured a circular shape of three thick arcs in dark blue, yellow, and white, with a noticeable gap on the left side. At the center sat the “NTIA” acronym in a dense, black font with sharp, angular lines. While the design was present, the heavy typography made it hard to read, especially in smaller sizes.

The new logo takes a cleaner, more minimalist approach. It keeps the circular concept but simplifies it into three thin, symmetrical lines in a calming light blue. Instead of placing the acronym dead center like before, the updated design shifts the text slightly to the right, creating a balanced and harmonious layout.
