REJECT was founded in Japan in 2018 as All Rejection Gaming. Operated by REJECT Corporation and backed by Z Venture Capital, Jafco Group and East Ventures, the organization expanded into PUBG Mobile, Valorant, Brawl Stars, Identity V, League of Legends and Street Fighter. In 2020, it acquired Nora Rengo, and in 2021 opened a training facility in Tokyo.
Its first Apex Legends roster appeared in March 2022 with niwatori, myanchu and zako3, though the lineup lasted only one month. On January 19, 2024, REJECT and WINNITY launched REJECT WINNITY and signed former REALIZE players Obly, KaronPe and SangJoon. Coach ahn2e joined the project after the trio had placed ninth at the 2023 ALGS Championship.
The roster finished second behind Fnatic in the 2024 APAC North league and qualified for the Split 1 Playoffs in Los Angeles. On May 5, 2024, REJECT WINNITY won the final after surviving a match-point lobby and defeating Cloud9 and Serenity in the last game. The victory brought $300,000 and 500 qualification points. The team became the first APAC North roster to win a global LAN and the third ALGS champion after TSM and DarkZero Esports.
On June 3, 2024, Obly and SangJoon moved to Crazy Raccoon, while Dogma and JungHee joined KaronPe. A Japanese roster based on NewJ followed in August. The Korean lineup disbanded on December 15, 2024, and in March 2025 REJECT signed Raygh and Euriece for the next ALGS campaign.
