SEOM Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity

SEOM Logo New

The municipal energy company SEOM in Sollentuna has introduced a new brand identity, signaling a focus on city residents and a readiness to address current industry challenges. The previous mark had long ceased to meet the company’s needs and conveyed a weak image of a reliable energy provider, so the update was a natural next step.

The new SEOM mark creates the image of a company engaged in city life and attentive to people. The lettering feels lighter, with lines that appear more elongated and technological. The letters took on slimmer proportions, and the letter m stands out for its own plasticity. It appears narrower than the neighboring characters, yet this very device adds distinctive traits to the overall look.

SEOM Logo Evolution

The color system is built around green tones and is associated with a responsible approach to the future and the development of the urban environment. Transitions between colors are soft, creating a living visual style that resonates with the image of a company close to its residents.

The serif typeface Gazpacho supports SEOM’s image in official materials, adding a friendly and warm tone. The new style is especially organic in the corporate magazine “Om.” The title refers to a unit of energy measurement and, by extension, completes the name “SEOM,” creating a clear semantic connection.

The photographic imagery in communications has moved closer to the everyday lives of city residents. The frames feature familiar scenes that reflect the concerns and joys of local people. Additional abstract backgrounds recall the play of light and energy, referencing the company’s field of activity. This approach is unusual yet adds associative depth to the image.

As a result, SEOM has gained a clear, current design that feels emotionally close to Sollentuna’s residents. The refreshed image underscores the company’s importance to the city’s community and clearly demonstrates its focus on serving the city’s interests and its residents.
