New products appear regularly in the functional beverage market. Many brands promise hydration support and help for the body throughout the day. Solspill works with a similar purpose and presents it through daily habits, rest, travel, and social moments. Based on this idea, Holman\Design developed a new brand identity in 2025.
Solspill is presented as a premium drink for an urban audience. The brand is aimed at people who care about ingredients, packaging, and the purchase experience. The drink contains electrolytes, minerals, vitamins, and a sparkling base. In positioning, it sits between sports nutrition and the lifestyle segment. The brand team moves the product out of the narrow training category and into a broader daily routine.
The main part of Solspill’s new image is tied to the logo. At its core is a mark that resembles an eye with a spiral inside. Soft lines and the swirling form evoke attention to the body’s condition, perception, and small daily rituals. In the beverage category, the mark feels uncommon and sets the brand apart from familiar sports aesthetics.
Next to the symbol is the name SOLSPILL. The letters are large, geometric, and rounded. The tight typesetting makes the mark feel unified and gives the brand a mature look. Beneath the name is the phrase SIP INTO IT. It adds a light invitation to engage and connects the drink with a personal moment of consumption.
The logo carries references to modernism and the psychedelic culture of the 1960s and 1970s. The visual style keeps focus on the symbol and the name. The form of the mark feels fresh while keeping a calm presentation.
In the project materials, the mark is described as a fluid monogram. A leaf, a cup, and a drinking straw can be read within one form. Through these images, the brand concisely connects ingredients, the act of drinking, and the product’s purpose.
The identity was created with different needs in mind. The logo is designed for packaging, store shelves, social media, and digital formats. The structure of the mark is simple, and its form works across different sizes and applications.
Holman\Design worked on the brand platform, identity, and product presentation. As a result, Solspill received an image in which the logo connects hydration with urban habits and a personal sense of balance. The brand looks calmer and more mature than many products in the functional beverage category, with a broader presentation beyond sports.
