The Hoopla entertainment center has opened in the Australian suburb of South Morang. Its name is derived from a French exclamation and an Old English word meaning “noisy commotion” and “cheerful excitement”. The project’s creators breathed new life into this rare word. Now it’s associated with a place where noise, laughter, and play are a regular part of leisure, and parents get a break from their daily worries while their children are busy having fun.
Hoopla has brought together a wide range of family entertainment under one roof. Inside, there is a spacious trampoline area, classic and speed bowling, arcade games, a separate play area for toddlers, a restaurant, and a bar. The center is designed for extended visits, where children have plenty to do, and adults have time to relax.
The brand’s core concept is conveyed through a logo featuring two interlocking “o” s that form an infinity symbol. The center doesn’t have a single main activity; leisure here consists of a multitude of scenarios, and the stream of experiences seems endless.
The Champ font was used for the logo. It is soft, vibrant, and works well at various sizes. The color palette is based on a rich orange, but can also include gray, green, and brown. Thanks to this combination, the center’s image avoids an overly childish tone and appeals to guests of all ages.
Hoopla’s new style perfectly captures the essence of the project. Children get space to play, and parents get a break and comfort. As a result, the center has established itself as a place where people come for a lively family outing and leave feeling they had a good time.
