LA Galaxy Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity

LA Galaxy Logo

The LA Galaxy kit’s visual system has gained a new layer of meaning. Above the shield, in place of the familiar single achievement line, a considered composition of six silver stars has appeared. They are arranged symmetrically, three on each side, creating an accent above the club crest. The updated kit and official explanations were published on the team’s website on January 8, 2026.

There is a clear reason for the change. Over the years, the club has won the MLS Cup six times. The trophies were secured in the 2002, 2005, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2024 seasons. This record is reflected in the new star configuration. At the same time, the club crest, name, and core identity elements remain unchanged.

The sixth star appeared in the visual look of the 2025 season kit. The gap between the victory and the update is tied to adidas’s production cycle, which plans changes. As a result, the new scheme continues previous seasons without a sharp visual break.

Club management emphasizes that the stars are perceived more broadly than a list of titles. They carry the history of a long journey, competition, and ambition that have accompanied the LA Galaxy throughout its time in the league.

LA Galaxy has competed in MLS since 1996 and remains the most decorated club in the league. The new star arrangement was developed jointly with adidas and implemented across all playing kits, home and away. The update does not disrupt the team’s image, but it records its place in the history of American soccer in a visual, easily understood way.
