PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity

PAC MAN WORLD 2 Re PAC Logo New

The return of Pac-Man World 2 as a remake titled PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC has refreshed the entire series’ identity. Bandai Namco Entertainment is releasing the game on modern platforms with updated graphics, redesigned levels, and new modes, including co-op. Additionally, the logo and overall style were updated to match the project’s current look.

The studio Fluid handled the visual identity. They retained the familiar silhouette long associated with the series and redesigned it without a drastic departure from the past. The goal was to preserve the familiar look and refine it into a cleaner form. The new logo continues the line of the original and looks more refined.

PAC MAN WORLD 2 Re PAC Logo Evolution

The logo’s foundation remains an oval shape. It has been preserved, but the outline is now smoother. The red field looks cleaner, the frame has been simplified, and unnecessary glare has been removed. The lettering has been redesigned. The letters are now denser, the form is more austere, and the spacing has been reduced. PAC MAN is at the top, WORLD is below it, and RE PAC has been added in a smaller size beneath that. The 3D effect has been retained but softened, with no sharp edges.

The number 2 was moved to the right and enlarged. The outline was strengthened, and a double stroke was added. This separates the number from the main text and balances the entire composition. It serves as a distinct accent, highlighting a specific part of the series.

The name “Re PAC” was conceived internally at Bandai Namco Entertainment and became the foundation of the entire campaign. It serves as the link between the previous and updated versions of the game. Additional materials, including a series of postcards featuring game locations, are also built on this principle.
