The international workforce management company Velocity Global has updated its identity and is now called Pebl. The new name symbolizes a small stone, an image associated in many cultures with strength and change.

Pebl offers businesses services in hiring, payroll, and employee support in 185 countries. At the center of the system is an AI-powered digital assistant named Alfie. It operates in 50 languages and is supported by a global network of two hundred experts in labor and corporate law. The company’s clients include Fortune 500 corporations and fast-growing startups. Pebl ranks first on the G2 list for legal compliance and the number of employment licenses.

The logo consists of two pebble shapes forming the letter “P.” It is memorable, paired with a soft typeface, and features rounded corners that create a sense of openness. However, the identity also uses another font, FK Roman, which is formal and academic. It creates contrast but does not fully align with the logo’s tone.

The brand’s main color is aquamarine. It is bright, though the combination with black elements and gradients can sometimes appear heavy. In Pebl’s communications, pebble-like shapes are used to build visual logic and maintain a lively, human brand image. Photographs with soft lighting and emotional scenes of interaction enhance the effect.

The abundance of rounded shapes and forms sometimes creates visual overload. Despite this, Pebl’s style looks modern. It conveys the idea of a technology-driven service with a human face.

The previous name, Velocity Global, sounded dry and emotionless. It did not reflect the company’s essence and felt too formal. The new name, Pebl, is shorter, simpler, and easier to recognize, though the intentional letter reduction evokes associations with early-2000s internet brands.

Despite some debatable details, the update appears confident. Pebl demonstrates readiness for growth and the ambition to set a new standard in global employment by combining digital technology with a human approach.
