Meaning and History
What is Seldo?
It is a company that manufactures and sells building materials. The assortment includes everything you need, from basic components to specialized construction solutions. The needs of private buyers and industry professionals are taken into account in the work process. Products are designed with a focus on reliability and ease of use. Now, it is a successful enterprise that supplies materials to various regions, helping to implement projects of all scales, from small repairs to large construction projects.
Old
The old SELDO INDUSTRIES logo looks simple and confident. SELDO began as a company focused on practicality and reliability in its solutions, which is reflected in the emblem.
To the left is a gear-like symbol colored in bright orange with a volumetric, glossy effect. The letters “S” and “L” can be recognized and styled similarly within it. Strength and reliability are essential in construction, and the symbol emphasizes the company’s business direction.
The name is written on two lines with different fonts. The top part, “SELDO,” features massive blue letters in a sans-serif typeface with clear lines and wide shapes. The lower part, “INDUSTRIES,” uses a thin black font. The letters are spaced widely, lending order and balance to the composition.
Blue, orange, and black form a simple and clear palette suitable for an industry where everything needs to be straightforward and functional. The orange shade adds energy and life; blue conveys professionalism, and black emphasizes the overall design’s strictness.
The result is a calm and confident logo that reflects the company’s business profile, clearly communicating its field of activity and approach within the construction industry.
New
The new SELDO INDUSTRIES logo abandoned the previous gear symbol, shifting the focus entirely to the name itself. The composition is purely textual, although somewhat unconventional.
The letter “E” was transformed into three bright orange stripes. They appear as minimalist lines reminiscent of building materials, such as planks or beams, highlighting the company’s essence, which involves producing construction and finishing materials. The three stripes add a dynamic touch to the overall image.
The remaining letters in “SELDO” are set in a broad, solid sans-serif font, colored bright blue. Their style aligns with the industrial character of the brand. The blue conveys reliability and the company’s professional approach.
The word “INDUSTRIES” is positioned below, horizontally elongated, and set in a thin, strict black font with wide spacing between the letters. It completes the composition, adding lightness and a neat touch.
The design change proved successful: the old symbol disappeared, but its function was transferred to the distinctive letter “E.” The orange lines add character and motion to the logo, underscoring the company’s construction theme.
