Texas Health Resources Logo PNG
The Texas Health Resources logo reflects the company’s primary goal to be a reliable health and medical care partner. This symbol serves as a reminder of when the organization began providing accessible, high-quality healthcare for the region’s residents. Gradually expanding its services, the company has become one of the leading medical institutions in Texas, implementing innovations and maintaining high standards of patient care. The logo is associated with care for the lives and health of everyone seeking assistance from specialists within this system.
Texas Health Resources was formed in 1997 through the merger of Presbyterian Healthcare Resources, Harris Methodist Health System, and Arlington Memorial Hospital. The three systems brought long local histories into the new network. Harris Hospital had opened in Fort Worth in 1930, Arlington Memorial Hospital in 1958, and Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas in 1966.
From 1998 to 2000, the organization concentrated on combining administration, standardizing clinical procedures and introducing shared patient-care rules across all facilities. Between 2000 and 2005, it expanded across North Texas by acquiring medical centers, opening hospitals and developing specialized programs for a growing regional population.
Investment in technology increased from 2006 to 2010 with a unified electronic health-record system linking hospitals, clinics and physicians. From 2011 to 2015, the network added outpatient clinics and ambulatory centers, making routine, diagnostic and follow-up care available outside major hospital campuses and closer to local communities.
Between 2016 and 2019, new programs strengthened orthopedics, cardiology and oncology. From 2020 to 2022, facilities were modernized, telemedicine expanded, and newer diagnostic and treatment systems were introduced. By 2023, Texas Health Resources operated more than two dozen hospitals and numerous outpatient clinics, serving millions of patients across North Texas through preventive, routine, and specialized care.
