In the United Kingdom, the Virgin Experience Days project has operated since 2005, focusing on experience-based gifts. The range included dining formats, extreme activities, and aviation programs. In 2021, a similar offering appeared in the United States under the name Virgin Experience Gifts. Despite strong popularity, the project gradually blended into the broader travel and leisure services space, and its complex name created a barrier for some audiences.

During the update preparation, the company conducted extensive research with a large number of respondents. Participants were asked about their feelings regarding giving and receiving gifts. The central idea that emerged was strengthening human connection through the act of exchange itself. A gift is seen as a way to revive relationships and add a new dimension. Based on this insight, the idea of going beyond calendar dates and giving without a formal occasion took shape. This approach was expressed in the slogan “Give something different.”

The American and British directions were united under the shared name Virgin Gifts. The updated design focuses on the interaction between the giver and the recipient rather than the mechanics of transferring an object. The brand mark underwent a major change. An envelope image replaced the familiar square with a gift ribbon. The visual environment is filled with lively imagery that emphasizes emotions and moments of exchange.

The color foundation retains Virgin red, complemented by neon shades that create a sense of lightness and energy. Typography became more expressive, with unconventional accents. Animated elements convey anticipation and the moment of opening a gift.

The communication tone became freer and more human, without formality or affectation. Virgin Gifts creates space for genuine emotion and honest dialogue, shifting the focus from a formal gesture to emotional exchange.
