Watts Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity

Watts Logo

Watts entered the dog supplement market in 2026 with a name and logo by View Source. The team took the brand from product concept to launch in 8 months. The identity centers on a large Wattss wordmark designed to work on a small pouch, a screen, or a storefront window.

3 former pet food executives founded the Brooklyn brand. They developed daily supplements as meat treats with a short ingredient list. The first product, Better Dailies, combines grass-fed beef, heart, liver, and functional ingredients. The founders wanted to pair supplement benefits with the taste of a familiar treat. Sales launched through an online store and 4 retail partners.

View Source sought a middle ground between the clinical look and overt playfulness common in the category. Watts targets dog owners with high standards for their pets’ nutrition. The short ingredient list inspired a restrained design approach. A large brand name and brief messages keep the focus on the product.

Watts Emblem

The View Source team created the name, Watts. The short word suggests electricity and a boost of energy, a theme carried into the custom lettering. All 5 letters are lowercase, with heavy strokes and tight spacing. Straight sections meet rounded recesses, giving the compact wordmark a retro typographic feel.

The inner recesses of the “w” are rounded, while the “s” has a wavelike outline. In the “a,” a semicircular section meets an angular one, and the two “t” letters repeat the vertical strokes at the word’s center. Alignment and spacing bring these varied shapes together into a cohesive wordmark. According to the designers, subtle departures from conventional letterforms convey playfulness and vitality.

The Watts wordmark anchors the entire identity. Its thick strokes and broad internal shapes are designed to work at different sizes. The logo appears prominently on packaging, in retail displays, and across digital materials.

Watts Symbol

The primary color is named Beef. Its warm brown-orange hue is paired with a light cream called Bone and black. The color names reference meat-based nutrition. The cream background softens the saturated primary color and black lettering while keeping the color palette limited.

View Source handled positioning, packaging, photography, and the online store. Geometric icons echo the letterforms, while photographs show dogs in everyday settings. Studio employees’ pets took part in the shoots. The product comes in compact pouches with Velcro closures. The online store features animation and a minigame on its 404 error page. Visitors who complete the game receive a discount code.
