The Carrot Fertility logo serves as a visual marker for a company dedicated to providing reproductive health support. The brand has united various services on a single platform, helping people make crucial decisions from cell freezing to adoption guidance.

Carrot Fertility: Brand overview

Carrot Fertility was founded in San Francisco in 2016 by Tammy Sun, Julie Cho, and Asima Ahmad, following Sun’s experience with difficulty accessing fertility care through workplace benefits. Initially, the startup focused on building a platform connecting businesses with specialized medical providers to offer personalized fertility solutions.

In 2017, Carrot raised $3.6 million in seed funding, expanding its team and securing initial corporate partnerships. Rapid growth occurred in 2018, broadening its provider network and service portfolio, which now includes international fertility care.

A significant step was taken in 2019 with an $11.5 million Series A investment, which facilitated technological enhancements and further global outreach. Between 2020 and 2021, substantial Series B and C funding rounds accelerated Carrot’s expansion into new global markets and increased corporate adoption.

By 2022, Carrot prioritized user experience, introduced telemedicine solutions, and upgraded customer support. Entering 2024, the company operated in over 120 countries, steadily improving access to reproductive healthcare through employer-sponsored fertility benefits.

Carrot Fertility Logo

The development of the Carrot Fertility logo was carried out in-house, with AJ Joseph and external branding specialists involved. The team was tasked with creating a visual mark for a technological, inclusive structure that would be equally suitable for both corporate clients and end users.

The design is based on typography. The company name is placed horizontally and spans the entire width of the construction. The logo features a geometric sans-serif font with even strokes and balanced proportions.

The distinctive feature is that the letter “A” is rendered in a non-standard way, replaced by an inverted Latin “V.” Its shape evokes a metaphor of growth and progress, which is connected to the company’s activities in the field of family and reproductive health.

Carrot Fertility Symbol

The typeface resembles modern geometric grotesques, such as Circular, GT Walsheim, and Avenir. Even strokes and geometric glyphs combined with moderate spacing form the rhythm of the word and make it easy to perceive.

The palette includes two options. The basic one features a dark gray-black color that conveys a sense of strictness and neutrality. It suits interfaces, business documentation, and the digital environment naturally. There is also a version with an orange tone. It is connected with the brand name and strengthens the associative line, but the monochrome version remains the main one, intended for universal use.

The visual concept of Carrot Fertility demonstrates conciseness and thoughtfulness. The logo conveys the company’s thematic focus through the symbolic interpretation of the letter “A” and the strict geometry of the font.
