cognac Logos and Brands
Hennessy, Rémy Martin, Courvoisier, and Martell, the four great cognac houses from the Cognac region in southwestern France, define the tone of the “Cognac” section. Cognac production is strictly regulated by appellation law, and the right to use the name “cognac” belongs only to distillates made from specific grape varieties and aged in oak barrels within the region. The emblems of the cognac houses are infused with aristocratic heritage, coats of arms, founders’ monograms, and images of centuries-old cellars where the most valuable eaux-de-vie mature.
