Nintendo Logos and Brands

A Japanese company with more than a century of history, which began producing hanafuda playing cards, holds the main position in the “Nintendo” section. The Nintendo brand has gone from a workshop in Kyoto to one of the world’s largest game console manufacturers and video game developers. The company’s logo has changed from traditional Japanese characters to a simple Latin inscription in an oval frame, becoming familiar to billions of players worldwide. In addition to its corporate logo, Nintendo has created a whole universe of visual symbols associated with gaming platforms and franchises, from NES to Switch.
