In 2018, the leadership of the Milan Art Institute noticed their students needed a dedicated social platform to showcase art and connect. That idea quickly evolved, and active development began shortly after. Working closely with artists and instructors, developers created a user-friendly platform initially tested by students. The first version of Art Social launched with essential features, including artwork upload and basic interactions. Soon after, significant improvements brought new educational tools and virtual workshops, enhancing the artists’ learning experience. Mobile apps for iOS and Android were introduced to reach even more users, making access simpler. The platform later added advanced options, such as virtual exhibitions, ratings, portfolio-building tools, and monetization options, allowing artists to sell their works directly. Most recently, live streaming and online courses have helped established artists share knowledge with newcomers. Through ongoing refinement and listening closely to its community, Art Social continues to evolve, supporting artists at every stage of their creative journey.

The Art of Social Logo

ArtSocial appeared as part of the Milan Art Institute, an international art community that brings together people interested in exhibitions, galleries, lively interactions around art, and the exchange of experience. Since its founding, the platform has been oriented toward comfortable communication, accessible education, and the opportunity to showcase one’s work to a large audience.

The ArtSocial logo is concise, written on a single line, with an intriguing accent. The letter “A” is not quite a letter; instead, it is replaced by a colorful symbol consisting of two parts: a diagonal line with color gradients and a paintbrush-like shape. The gradient is smooth, with colors blending into one another from turquoise to red through purple, pink, and orange. The symbol adds vibrancy to the strict lettering, reminding viewers that community members are engaged in creativity and painting.

The text is set in a simple geometric sans-serif typeface. The letters are rounded, restrained, and even. In proportions, the typeface is balanced, not too wide, not too narrow, with comfortable spacing between characters. Only the letter “S” is uppercase; the remaining text is lowercase, adding informality and friendliness. The lettering color is dark gray, calm enough to let the colorful symbol stand out brighter.
