Xerox Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity

Xerox Logo New

Xerox unveiled a new logo on June 9, 2026, adding a square emblem with a white “X” beside its red wordmark. The update follows the acquisition of Lexmark and brings the two manufacturers together under a shared name. The identity reflects the company’s expanding business across printing, digital services, and IT.

Xerox closed the Lexmark acquisition on July 1, 2025. The transaction was valued at $1.5 billion, including net debt and assumed liabilities. The purchase expanded Xerox’s equipment lineup, manufacturing capacity, and geographic reach. Customers and partners can now access products and services from the combined portfolios of the two former competitors.

Xerox Logo Evolution

The logo retains the red Xerox wordmark introduced in 2008, with its rounded, lowercase sans-serif letters. A red square with rounded corners now sits to its left. Curving white bands form an “X” inside it. Xerox had used the wordmark alone as its primary logo since 2019 and has now returned to pairing the name with a separate emblem.

The new identity has ties to the version introduced on January 7, 2008. For that update, Interbrand created a red sphere wrapped in light-colored, intersecting ribbons forming an “X” and placed it to the right of the name. In the 2026 logo, the emblem moves to the left, and a rounded square replaces the sphere. The white “X” against a red background maintains a connection between the two versions.

Xerox Symbol

Interbrand’s work followed research involving Xerox employees, customers, and partners. The interwoven ribbons represented the company’s relationships with customers, its partner network, and the industry, as well as its connection to innovation. The sphere was designed for animation and multimedia use. The lowercase wordmark was intended to make the corporate identity feel friendlier and support Xerox’s shift toward software and services.

Druckerchannel interprets the 2026 emblem as a reference to both brands. The publication sees similarities to the Xerox sphere and Lexmark’s former aperture-inspired symbol. Xerox describes the update as reflecting combined expertise, a broader offering for customers, and a stronger partner network. The publication’s comparison of the logo shapes is its interpretation.

Xerox Logo Old

Xerox is also developing its IT business, including through its acquisition of ITsavvy. The company is expanding its automation, document management, and enterprise technology services, including applications of artificial intelligence. The updated identity is intended to present Xerox as a provider of printing and copying equipment, software, and technology services.

Partners saw the new identity before the official June announcement at the Xerox Western Europe Channel Forum 2026 in Frankfurt. The presentation featured a three-dimensional version of the emblem. On launch day, the logo appeared on Xerox’s U.S. website, while its German website still displayed the previous wordmark.
