The BigSpring AI logo represents a platform where learning becomes a tool for professional growth. Knowledge transitions into practice and engagement with employers, helping apply skills to real-world tasks and creating an environment for development without unnecessary theory.
BigSpring AI was founded in 2017 by Bhakti Vithalani, a Mumbai-born engineer and entrepreneur educated at Carnegie Mellon and Wharton. After working at Siebel Systems and McKinsey & Company, she saw a recurring problem. Companies could design strong plans, yet training often failed to change how frontline teams worked. BigSpring built its model around job readiness rather than course completion or test scores.
The company was registered in New York and Singapore and developed with co-founder and chief technology officer Arun. Its platform measured whether employees could apply skills in real work, separating it from systems such as Cornerstone OnDemand and SAP SuccessFactors. The model focused on behavior instead of hours spent in training.
In June 2020, the World Economic Forum named BigSpring a Technology Pioneer. By then, the platform had reached more than 500,000 users, including clients such as Google, Uber, United Technologies, and Tata Steel. In May 2022, JC2 Ventures, founded by Cisco chief John Chambers, invested in the company, and Chambers joined as an adviser. Its client list later included Meta, Amazon, AXA, and BCG.
Vithalani spoke at SXSW in 2023 about neurodiversity at work, and BigSpring was named among the Top 20 Rising Stars in workforce development. In May 2024, the company announced a goal to build digital skills for 100,000 people by 2025. It also launched Reps, an AI sales-practice tool supporting English accents, Hindi, Spanish, Turkish, and Japanese.

2017 – today
The BigSpring AI logo begins with a symbol that forms an abstract B. It is composed of two asymmetrical blocks. The upper one features a saturated blue and is finished with a smoothly curved, truncated edge. The lower one is light blue and has a rounded top. The combination of forms is perceived as a smooth wave or a liquid flow, reflecting the brand’s idea of flexibility, modularity, and digital adaptability.
The use of color reinforces the visual concept. The palette is based on blue and light blue, which are associated with technology and reliability. It relates to the company’s digital and educational profile.
The text part is in black. A modern geometric sans serif is used. The letters are even, balanced, and arranged in a tight line. The spacing between them is minimized, which gives the inscription structural unity. The first letters of the words “Big” and “Spring” are capitalized; the rest of the words are lowercase. The contours of the typeface are rounded and smooth. They correspond to current trends in minimalist typography, creating a sense of friendliness and clarity of form.
