Morocco’s state postal operator, Barid Al-Maghrib, and French parcel group Geopost formed Chrono Diali. The project was approved on June 26, 2019, authorized by government decree in January 2020, and incorporated with MAD 30 million capital. Barid Al-Maghrib held 51%, while Geopost, part of La Poste, received 49%.
The partners had already worked together through EMS Chronopost International Maroc, an international express-delivery venture owned 66% by the Moroccan side and 34% by Geopost. Chrono Diali began operations in September 2020 as a joint-stock company focused on domestic e-commerce. Its platform supported parcel tracking, returns, cash collection, and card payment at delivery, reflecting the continued importance of cash-on-delivery orders in Morocco.
Using Barid Al-Maghrib’s postal network, the company reached hundreds of destinations. It gave online sellers tools to monitor shipments, return parcels, and collect funds. Chrono Diali entered a market shared with local and foreign operators, including Amana Logistics, while its service model combined nationwide delivery with digital order management.
In 2024, Temu signed an agreement with Chrono Diali covering customs clearance and logistics for imported orders. The partnership expanded its role in cross-border online retail between foreign sellers and Moroccan buyers. The joint venture notified Morocco’s Competition Council in March 2025 and received approval in July 2025 under national merger-control rules.

The typeface resembles a hybrid of Montserrat and Poppins, but with a denser letter arrangement. The spacing is moderate.
