The Daydream AI logo represents smart solutions that transform online shopping into an intuitive and seamless experience. The brand was born from the idea of making shopping easier, helping businesses better understand customer needs and offer them what truly matters.

Daydream AI: Brand overview

Daydream grew from Julie Bornstein’s earlier fashion platform, THE YES, founded in 2018 and acquired by Pinterest in June 2022. Bornstein had previously worked at Stitch Fix, Sephora, and Nordstrom.com. After joining Pinterest as vice president of shopping, she began developing a new retail search platform built around conversational AI.

She founded Daydream in 2024 with Matt Fisher, Dan Cary, Lisa Green, and Richard Kim. The Kirkland, Washington company recruited former staff from Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Nordstrom, and Farfetch. On June 20, 2024, it announced a $50 million seed round led by Forerunner Ventures and Index Ventures, with Google Ventures, True Ventures, and Karlie Kloss among the investors.

US beta access opened in fall 2024. Users could describe clothing needs in natural language, while a personal style passport refined later recommendations. Daydream redirected shoppers to brand websites and earned commissions. Its early catalog covered nearly 2,000 brands, including Net-A-Porter, Jimmy Choo, and Alo Yoga.

The public launch followed on June 25, 2025, with over 200 partners, more than 8,000 brands, and about 2 million products from names such as Chloé, Acne Studios, Nike, and Uniqlo. Stylists Heidi Bivens, Sarah Walker, and Coco Schiffer joined as curators. In summer 2026, after passing 1.5 million users, Daydream launched Powered by Daydream with STAUD, Alice + Olivia, and Cult Mia as pilot partners. Anine Bing, Mansur Gavriel, and Sandro joined the queue.

Daydream AI Logo

The Daydream AI emblem is constructed from typography without the addition of symbols or decorative elements. A serif font with elegant plasticity was chosen as the basis, lending the inscription a refined, intellectual character.

The composition is defined by the letter D. Its strict vertical axis and balanced proportions set the rhythm of the entire inscription. In contrast, the letter “y” has an elongated descender that gently curves downward, forming a smooth flourish. The asymmetry contains a subtle emotional accent that enlivens the even structure of the rest of the word. The other characters are arranged evenly and neatly, preserving the harmony of perception.

The font demonstrates a classical distribution of contrasts between main and auxiliary strokes. The form of the serifs is restrained, yet they give the composition an aristocratic character. The proportions are balanced so that no letter goes beyond the general rhythm, and the combination of verticals and curves creates a unified structure.

The coloring is limited to black. The line thickness is moderate, and the spacing between the letters is adjusted so that the text is easily perceived by the eye, without visual crowding or excessive emptiness. The kerning creates harmony and conveys a sense of integrity and balance.

The semiotics of the image relies on the traditions of classical publishing style and appeals to modern brands working in fashion, art, and innovative technologies. The Daydream AI logo embodies modernity and refinement, with its emotional undertone subtly conveyed through the type design’s proportions and features.
