Noble: Brand overview

Noble Automotive was founded by British engineer Lee Noble in Leeds in 1999. From the start, the brand specialized in lightweight sports cars focused on direct driver-car interaction, without excessive electronics.

The first model was the Noble M10 roadster, but real success came with the M12, released in 2000. The M12 was praised for power and handling, becoming one of Britain’s top sports cars of the early 2000s. In 2004, the improved track-focused M400 was introduced.

A significant step was the 2010 launch of the M600 supercar, powered by a twin-turbo Volvo/Yamaha V8 engine and featuring minimal driver-assistance electronics. Capable of speeds up to 360 km/h, it became the brand’s hallmark.

After Lee Noble left, Peter Dyson took leadership, continuing the original vision. In 2018, Noble presented the M500 concept, a more accessible model powered by a V6 EcoBoost turbocharged engine. The design consists of two key elements, vertically divided in contrast. The upper part features an emblem in the form of a stylized crown. The composition is built from two identical, mirror-reflected black letter “N” shapes, complemented by three circles at the top and two horizontal bars at the bottom. This element is interpreted as an abstract crown, visually reduced to a geometric set of forms. The “NN” construction is perceived as a metaphor for symmetry, engineering balance, and precision, while the circles and horizontal lines create a stable visual rhythm.
