The new company included “Coca-Cola Enterprises,” “Coca-Cola Iberian Partners,” and “Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke.” The new name explained the group’s direction, the production, bottling, and sale of Coca-Cola beverages in Europe. After the merger, the company became the largest independent Coca-Cola bottler by revenue.
The logo is built around the main “Coca-Cola” name. A red rectangle serves as the background, while the white inscription is divided into 2 lines. At the top is “Coca-Cola” in the brand’s familiar handwritten style. The letters slant to the right, and the lines become thicker in some places before narrowing at the ends. After the acquisition of “Coca-Cola Amatil” in 2021, the name “Coca-Cola European Partners” became too narrow for the group. It connected the European business with the Asia-Pacific region and demonstrated the company’s expanded reach following the deal.
“Coca-Cola Amatil” brought the group a major regional business with a long history in the beverage industry. Amatil’s predecessor had operated in Australia since 1904. For this reason, the name change did not look like a routine signage update but rather a transition to a company entering a new market and operating at a different scale. “Coca-Cola Europacific Partners” became the name of the bottler responsible for producing, bottling, and selling beverages across an expanded territory.
