Marvel Logos and Brands

The Marvel Comics universe, one of the two dominant comic book empires in global pop culture, serves as the basis for the “Marvel” section. Marvel Comics, founded in 1939 as Timely Publications, gave the world Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Avengers, and hundreds of other characters. The Marvel logo, with its red rectangle and white letters, has become the hallmark of Marvel Studios, the film division that has grossed over $30 billion at the box office. The section features brands from individual franchises, films, TV series, and gaming projects under the Marvel Entertainment umbrella, which has been owned by The Walt Disney Company since 2009.
