But while Bunker Ramo, having become part of Allied in 1982, never returned to independent operations, Amphenol successfully spun off into an independent entity.

The current version of the Amphenol logo was introduced in the 2000s and reflects a new phase of the business, no longer associated with its previous partners. The logo now consists of the simple word “Amphenol” in blue. The first letter is capitalized, while the rest are lowercase. The typeface closely resembles Helvetica Neue or Microsoft Sans Serif.
